One of the greatest violinists of all time
“Who says it has to be beautiful? Is nature always beautiful? Nature is beautiful because it’s not always how we expect it to be.” - Maxim Vengerov
Maxim Vengerov is considered to be one of the greatest violinists of all time. His radiant interpretations, the intensity of his sound, the great dramatic quality of his renditions and the exuberant musicality of his playing are rooted in the great tradition of the Russian violin school. In the course of his international career, Vengerov already played in the most important halls of the world. Despite his international fame, Maxim Vengerov is not an artist who rests on his laurels. Instead, he always thinks outside the box of classical-romantic repertoire, explores the possibilities of his instrument in search of new inspirations and involves himself in projects embracing genres such as jazz and rock.
[/vc_text_img][vc_text_img text_img_config="image-text-var" text_background="text-background-white" alignment_horizontal="left" alignment_vertical="center" image="452"]An encounter with harpsichordist Trevor Pinnock in Salzburg led Vengerov to study the baroque violin, in order to be able to play early music in a historically informed way. Vengerov worked with superstars such as Yehudi Menuhin and Carlo Maria Giulini. Encouraged by his mentors Mstislaw Rostropovich and Daniel Barenboim, Vengerov took lessons with conductor Vag Papian and has been conducting himself since 2007. Both as a soloist and conductor, Vengerov has performed with such distinguished orchestras as the New York Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre, and the symphony orchestras of Chicago, Montreal and Toronto.
Vengerov is also passionately committed to supporting young talents, which he teaches at major music schools around the world. Born in Novosibirsk, he began his studies at the age of five with the famous teacher Galina Tuchaninova in Moscow. Later he studied with Zakhar Bron and won the first prize in the Karol Lipiński and Henryk Wieniawski Young Violin Player Competition at the age of ten. Maxim Vengerov is currently one of the most sought-after violinists worldwide. He plays the ex-Kreutzer Stradivarius of 1727.

Sound innovator and ingenious arranger
The music is the most important thing to me. - Roman Kim
Internet star and breathtaking virtuoso. Sound innovator and witty arranger. The young violinist and composer Roman Kim is not only a multi-talent, but also a typical artist of our time. In addition to a flawless technique, which we all presuppose in a good violinist, Roman Kim has the daring and musicality for the specific virtuoso repertoire a la Paganini that liberates such works from the odour of the exclusively superficial. Roman Kim has a direct musical approach to this music, his own compositions reveal him as a gifted and conscious "epigone" of Paganini.
In 2010 Roman Kimreleased his first video project as a solo violinist. The then 19-year-old transcribed the Air by Bach from the 3rd Orchestra Suite and adapted all four parts of Bach's score to a single violin. Instrumentally - a considerable challenge, musically - a pleasure. The arrangement became a hit and attracted the attention and recognition of thousands and thousands of violinists and music lovers.
[/vc_text_img][vc_text_img text_img_config="image-text-var" text_background="text-background-white" alignment_horizontal="center" alignment_vertical="center" image="729"]The cooperation with the music publisher "Bärenreiter" finally brought a proud confirmation of value. The Bachs Air, arranged by Roman Kim, was published in April 2015. The demand was great and the first edition was sold out within a few months.
Roman Kim's music is romantic, melodic and virtuoso. In his compositions, the artist discovers the boundless world of his instrument and brings many innovations to the sound possibilities of the violin. His paraphrases "I Brindisi" on Verdi's themes (published in 2013) strengthened his reputation as Paganini's "epigones". In April 2017 Roman Kim's "Three Romances" for violin and piano were published by "Bärenreiter".
Roman Kim received his first violin lesson at the age of five and at seven years old won first prizes in national competitions, which led him to the Central Music School in Moscow in 2000. With a scholarship from the Mstislav Rostropovich Foundation (2001 - 2008), he began taking lessons from Maxim Vengerov in 2007 and attended master classes with Midori Goto, Lewis Kaplan, Miriam Fried and Gidon Kremer, while continuing to give concerts in major halls in Russia, Western Europe and South Korea. In 2008, Roman Kim was accepted at the age of 16 at the Musikhochschule in Cologne, where he studied with Prof. Viktor Tretyakov.

Piano Diva and DJ
“My repertoire mainly follows two lines – the romantic one by composers like Chopin and the Soviet Russian one by composers Shostakovich to Schnittke.” - Viki Lee
When Viki Lee performs, it's about more than music. Her concerts and her high-gloss music videos are always all-embracing art forms in which stage show and wardrobe, lighting, make-up and music are precisely coordinated. With this audio-visual concept, the attractive pianist presents herself as a thoroughly modern classical artist. Yet she is far from being superficial. Beyond the luxuriant staging of her performances, Viki Lee is a seriously committed interpreter, serving music and the composers's intentions.
As a powerful and expressive soloist, Viki Lee cultivates an opulent and colourful sound, devoting herself above all to the works of Chopin, Schumann, Scriabin, Tchaikovsky, Bartók, Liszt, Scarlatti, Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Ravel and Debussy. But her focus of interest also lies on works by Rachmaninov, Prokofiev, Shostakovich and Schnittke. Lee has performed in concert halls in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, San Jose, Tacoma, Chicago, Dallas, Pittsburg, Atlanta, Boston, Seoul, Berlin, Munich, Düsseldorf, Vienna, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Brussels as well as in the most important and largest halls in Moscow.
[/vc_text_img][vc_text_img text_img_config="image-text-var" text_background="text-background-white" alignment_horizontal="center" alignment_vertical="center" image="720" el_class="Testtext will er herein?"]Viki Lee is also active as a composer. Her own works, in which she combines the sound of the piano with electronic sounds and inspirations from pop and minimalism, reveal a clear influence from the current club scene. And that's no wonder, since Viki Lee is also active as a DJ who plays techno and deep house tracks at parties. Currently she is working on her first album.
Viki Lee received her first piano lessons at the age of 5 and started playing the violin one year later. At the age of 14 she toured the US, South Korea, Australia and Europe together with a church choir. She attended the Central Music School of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (piano class of M. A. Marchenko) and did postgraduate studies at the Maimonides State Classical Academy. Viki Lee has Korean roots and lives in Russia.

"Latin American music is flowing in my veins" - Simon Ghraichy
A pianist with overwhelming energy, powerful touch and impeccable sense of rhythm. Simon Ghraichy has lived in France since he was four years old and feels French in his heart. But as the son of a Mexican mother and a Lebanese father, the French pianist is also closely related to his parents' cultures and devoted to well and lesser known composers from Latin America and the Caribbean. In concert and in the recording studio he shows the musical diversity of the American continent. At the same time, he underlines how the carefree approach of Latin American composers towards forms and rhythms of popular music speaks to a worldwide audience, appealing to both the heart and the intellect. Ghraichy shows that their music is no less demanding than that of their European colleagues, by regularly performing compositions by Heitor Villa-Lobos, Arturo Márquez, Ernesto Lecuona or Gabriela Ortíz together with works by composers such as Ludwig van Beethoven, Gustav Mahler, Franz Schubert and Robert Schumann.
[/vc_text_img][vc_text_img text_img_config="image-text-var" text_background="text-background-white" alignment_horizontal="center" alignment_vertical="center" image="686"]As a passionate globetrotter who does not believe in pigeonholing, Simon Ghraichy also takes his music to places where classical music otherwise does not play a prominent role. Besides performing in the musical capitals, he gave concerts in Mali for French and American soldiers, played in the Roman forum of the ancient city of Baalbek only 60 km from the Syrian border or performed in a refugee camp in Indonesia. He also played at a Parisian school in front of students from educationally disadvantaged families. Simon Ghraichy has worked with such renowned orchestras as the American Symphony Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestras of the States of Mexico and of Brazil, the Lebanon Philharmonic Orchestra, the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, the Almaty Symphony Orchestra and the Guadalajara Youth Orchestra. He has also collaborates with the Orchestre Royal de Liège and the Orchestre National de Bretagne. He records for Deutsche Grammophon.
Simon Ghraichy joined the "Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Boulogne-Billancourt" at the age of 16, studied at the "Conservatoire national supérieur de musique" in Paris and at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. Michel Béroff, Daria Hovora and Tuija Hakkila where among his professors. He received master classes from Cyprien Katsaris, Jean-Philippe Collard, Gergely Bogányi and Jerome Lowenthal. After being awardes with multiple prizes, Ghraichy's career took off after an enthusiastic review by journalist Robert Hughes in the Wall Street Journal. Since then he has performed at festivals such as UNiSA in South Africa, the Serbian festival EXIT and the South Korean festival Isang Yun. Simon Ghraichy lives in Paris.

On the Eastern European chromatic button accordion Gaynullin is able to perform the most demanding Toccatas by Bach, tangos by Piazzolla, popular Csárdás tunes or even "We will rock you" by Queen – apparently there is no musical style too difficult for this energetic musician. Gaynullin seems to get pleasure in conquering new genres, surprising his audiences with his technical skills, creating magical landscapes of sound as well as exploring rhythmic extravagances and effective outbursts.

“I come from a musical family: my father was a music teacher, my mother in the accordion class. That's how they met and I'm the result.” - Peter Dranga
Anyone who thinks the accordion is only an instrument for placid folk evenings and lovers of amateur music has never heard Peter Dranga. The young Russian with the looks of a Latin lover rescued the traditional folk instrument out of its dusty corner and took it on a journey to a completely new sphere of music. Whenever Dranga plays and sings in sold out shows and up-to-date music videos, he shows his breathtaking ability to reinterpret Russian songs, tangos or even Vivaldi's "Four Seasons", turning them upside down and making them sound as fresh, cosmopolitan and edgy, as if you were listening to them for the first time.
Drangas own compositions are a fascinating creative puzzle. He mixes influences from nostalgic musette waltzes, techno or pop songs from Radiohead, Muse and Nirvana, converting them into something completely new. Whether in solo programs, in concerts with his band or accompanied by symphony orchestras – Dranga's breathtaking virtuosity, his easy-going flirt with musical styles, his sense of drama and show as well as his sensual, smoky voice take audiences by storm.
[/vc_text_img][vc_text_img text_img_config="image-text-var" text_background="text-background-white" alignment_horizontal="center" alignment_vertical="center" image="718" el_class="Testtext will er herein?"]Peter Dranga was born in Moscow into a family of musicians: his father was a professor at the Gnessin Music Institute, his mother the director of the Slakdislov Music School. He started playing the accordion as a child and was accepted at the Richter Music School in 1990. Soon he began arranging pieces from different genres for his instrument. In 1996 he won the competitions in Moscow and Castelfidardo (Italy). In 1997 he took part in the music competition in Saint Petersburg, performed at the International Music Festival in Beijing one year later and won the competition in Asturias (Spain). In 1999 he was accepted at the Gnessin Music Institute and began his concert career with the support of the Russian Cultural Foundation. His first CD was released in 2008. Dranga preferably plays instruments of the Italian manufacturer Bugari Armando. He successfully tours with solo programs, is regularly seen on TV and proud to support several charitable organizations.

"The noble sound he produces on the instrument called cello simply impresses everyone." - Vladimir Perlin
The human voice has always been considered the ideal of every instrumental interpretation. Mikhail Radunski's playing is proof of how true this is. Radunski plays his cello, making it sing and impressing with his sensual, intelligent interpretations, the precision of his tone and his technical versatility. The young, Belarusian cellist, teacher and winner of international competitions is a regular participant of important festivals such as the “Yuri Bashmet International Festival” in Minsk or the "Musica Mundi" festival in Belgium, where he also works as a teacher.

He has played with Vengerov on several occasions and performed together with Olga Peretyatko. Radunski does not only interpret symphonic repertoire but also solo and chamber music. As a curious musician who likes to experiment with genres and musical styles, he is also successful in various cross-over projects. His collaboration with the Belarusian pianist, singer and participant of the Eurovision Song Contest Yan Yarosh attracted special attention. Together they played titles by Sting, John Lennon or Robbie Williams in a style, elegantly combining pop and classical music.
Mikhail Radunksi has performed in his home country, Poland, Russia, China, France and Germany. He was born in Minsk and educated in the class of the renowned pedagogue Vladimir Perlin at the State Academy of Music. From an Internet star to a SONY MUSIC artist – Marcin’s career had nothing less than a tremendous start. Aged fifteen, after only having studied the guitar for five years, he won the 9th edition of „Must Be The Music Poland“ (2015) - his country's biggest talent show. His spectacular victories at the international Joaquin Rodrigo Competition (2018) and the Italian TV talent show „Tú Sí Que Vales“ (2018), as well as his sensational participation at the „America's Got Talent“ (2019) made him world famous.
Marcin Patrzalek, who simply goes by Marcin, is one of the most extraordinary guitar virtuosos of our time. In a breath-taking mix of percussive fingerstyle and flamenco technique, he literally reinvents the guitar into an instrument of unlimited possibilities of sound. Nothing seems to be impossible for Marcin. He transports classical guitar pieces into a whole new dimension, updates piano sonatas or symphonies by Ludwig van Beethoven and presents himself performing laid back dance tracks which he produces on his own.
[/vc_text_img][vc_text_img text_img_config="image-text-var" text_background="text-background-white" alignment_horizontal="left" alignment_vertical="center" image="724"]When Marcin was only 14, the guitar label CandyRat Records published a video with his arrangement of Albéniz's "Asturias". His tremendously energetic interpretations have been posted by publications such as Classic FM or Metal Hammer and aroused the admiration of guitarists and experts on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. Among Marcin's greatest successes are his version of Ludwig van Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, Symphony No. 5, his interpretation of "Toxicity" (System of a Down) and Paganini's Caprice No. 24. His videos have been viewed more than a 150 million times!
The guitarist, composer, producer and arranger presented his debut album “HUSH” in 2016. In 2017, he graduated the Advanced Jazz Improvisation course at Berklee College of Music and released his EP “revAMP” one year later. As a young artist he built a huge following thanks to his viral videos and live performances.
[/vc_text_img][vc_text_img text_img_config="text-image-var" text_background="text-background-white" alignment_horizontal="left" alignment_vertical="center" image="725"]In 2018 he became an endorser of the famous guitar manufacturer Ibanez. Companies such as Fishman Pickups, Elixir Strings and Klotz Cables were to follow, relying on his exceptional talent and enormous social media fanbase. Marcin has toured North, and Central America, South Africa, Germany, France, Poland and other European countries. In 2020, Marcin signed an exclusive contract with Sony Masterworks and released two singles: "Moonlight Sonata" - a flamenco and TR808-inspired reinterpretation of Beethoven's piano sonata, and "Snow Monkey" - a dance track with a spicy flavor of reggaetón and latin music, inspired by J. Balvin, Tainy and Rosalia. The internationally renowned luxury label Gucci used Marcin's "Moonlight Sonata" for one of its glossy campaigns. With his young, curious and creative mind, Marcin is constantly expanding his repertoire and looking for inspiration in collaboration with fellow musicians from a wide range of different genres.
Marcin started playing the guitar at the age of ten, during a holiday workshop with the classical guitarist Jerzy Pikor. He then took lessons in flamenco guitar with virtuoso Carlos Piñana, and auto-didactically expanded his skills in experimental techniques. Marcin integrated his great love for percussion into his unique playing technique.

Balalaika

"I never saw the balalaika as a Russian folk instrument. It simply allows me to play whatever I want!" – Alexey Arkhipovsky
Alexey Arkhipovsky is a true magician of sound. Critics around the world compare his achievements on the balalaika with the innovations that Niccolò Paganini brought to the violin and the revolution that Jimmie Hendrix started on the guitar. After his participation in the "Zomerjazzfietstour" in Groningen, the Dutch newspaper "De Volkskrant" compared him to guitar heroes such as Jeff Beck and Steve Vai. And indeed, playing his electrically amplified instrument with unlimited creativity and breathtaking technique, Arkhipovsky enters a sphere of unlimited possibilities that had never been heard before on the Russian balalaika.
[/vc_text_img][vc_text_img text_img_config="image-text-var" text_background="text-background-white" alignment_horizontal="center" alignment_vertical="center" image="691" el_class="Testtext will er herein?"]The musician, officially declared "the world's best balalaika soloist" by the Russian edition of the Guinness Book of Records in 2011, developed his unique technique on his own, combining elements of traditional and guitar playing. With exquisite taste and fine irony, his compositions open the door to a mesmerizing cosmos full of poetry, crystalline sounds and dreamlike melodies. In spite of the many inspirations he draws from Russian folklore, jazz, early, classical and even electronic music, Arkhipovsky's music is never superficial. It touches the listener with deep melancholy and an almost painful beauty that is typically Russian.
Arkhipovsky's concerts are planned with dramaturgical accuracy, putting a focus on the music that effortlessly captivates the audience. As a musician who does not fit into any genre, Arkhipovsky can be seen and heard regularly at festivals of classical, world music, folklore and jazz in Russia and abroad, as well as in radio and television stations worldwide.
Alexey Arkhipovsky was born in Tuapse (1967) and began playing the balalaika at the age of nine. Trained at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow, he was awarded at the competition for folk instruments in Russia (1985) became a member of the Smolensk Folk Orchestra after completing his studies and went on tour with the State Folk Ensemble Rossiya. In 2002 Arkhipovsky started his solo career which takes him around the globe.

However one could say that the essence of music making has changed over time and the level of technical performance has superseded the importance of musical expression. I have followed Liav Kerbel for many years and am happy to witness his complete devotion towards the quality of musicianship and technique as a whole, not sacrificing one for the other. I find Liav to be a young exceptional musician as well as having become a young promising cellist!"
- Mischa Maisky
